Swatting Spiders

From 10/13/09:

Took this image a while back.  Erik had the kids drilling “spider crawls” and then he pulled out the targets to start “swatting” them.  It got them to move fast!

 

I think it’s these kind of antics that elicit responses such as this one from a very new student.  Instead of giving Erik a “high five” at the end of class like everyone else, she simply ran up and said, “I love you! I love you! I love you!”

 

Erik confided to me I, “Wow, that’ll make it easy to be patient with her.”
