Manipura (filled with gems) 3rd chakra

from 2/11/09:

The third chakra, “manipura”, or “the navel solar plexus”  is called “the seat of power”.  Low self esteem, little vitality, hypersensitivity to criticism or being overly critical of others are all signs of an unbalanced 3rd chakra.  “Oh really?” you ask.  Yeah, yeah, I know.  Sounds hokey.  But, after developing my “ki ahp” in martial arts, I felt more confident and empowered to speak my truth.  Even if you don’t believe in this stuff, doesn’t it make sense that a strong and developed abdomen would help one feel balanced and poised?
