John “Kung Fu” Wang

From 3/19/10:

JW:  “Back when I was a little kid, I wanted to be able to do something to better than anyone else on this planet.

Also back when I was my age, there was not much to do, so martial training was a kind of entertainment. And nowadays too many things to do, they take your time, so its very hard, very different to achieve something.  That’s why I say, some say, martial art is gradually going to die away, because (heavy breath) the environment, the social structure has changed.”

Interviewer:  “Does that make you sad?”

JW:  “Not really.  It’s evolution, you know.”
